Must be at least 18 years old when filing Form N-400

💳 Green Card Status

Lawful Permanent Resident for 5 years (or 3 years if married to US citizen)

🏠 Continuous Residence

Must have continuously resided in the US for required period

📍 Physical Presence

Must be physically present in US for 30 months out of 5 years (18 months out of 3 years for spouses)

🎯 Good Moral Character

Demonstrate good moral character for the required period

📚 English & Civics Knowledge

Pass English and US history/civics tests (exceptions may apply)

🚀 Early Filing: You can file Form N-400 up to 90 days before completing your continuous residence requirement!

Current: If you file before October 20, 2025, you'll take the 2008 civics test (10 questions, need 6 correct)
